Windows Vista
The most important features of Windows Vista for businesses lies within Group Policy, security enhancements and improved reliability. Noteworthy examples: Management of printers and Power Options is now easily accessible through Group Policy and blocking of USB peripherals such as USB memory sticks is supported.
In Windows Vista rollout assignments, I'm planning the project with the customer to secure a reliable rollout. The rollout is tested, e.g. fulfillment of system requirements. Common compatibility problems relating to VPN, drivers etc. are tackled here.
New is the efficient rollout that can be performed thanks to Windows Deployment Services where support is included to make changes to offline images. Third party applications such as Norton Ghost are rendered obsolete.
